Laura Suhr Plassman is the assistant vice president, research analyst for the Bank Policy Institute, where she contributes to economic research on banking policy and regulation.
Prior to joining BPI, Mrs. Suhr Plassman worked as Junior Staff at Deloitte Risk Advisory Services in Hamburg, Germany where she conducted year-end audits and analyzed data for process optimization.
Mrs. Suhr Plassman has a master’s in economics from the University of Hamburg and conducted her master’s thesis at the professorship for macroeconomics and fiscal policy. She also holds a bachelors in economics and a minor in business analytics from the University of Cincinnati.
