Andrew Kennedy is Vice President of Cybersecurity and Risk Strategy for the Bank Policy Institute. Mr. Kennedy currently manages the BITS Cybersecurity Program and is the security advisor to the top-level domains .BANK and .INSURANCE, having previously rotated across the BITS vendor management and fraud program areas. In this role, Mr. Kennedy oversaw publications on email security, cloud computing and social media. More recently, Mr. Kennedy created the BITS Quantum Risk Calculator, an online tool to help firms prepare for the cyber impact of quantum computing.

Mr. Kennedy interned at BITS in 2006 while earning his B.A in Political Science from Cal State East Bay. Before moving to Washington D.C., he worked as an IT professional and security consultant in biotech and software engineering in California.
