FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Washington, D.C. — Today, the Bank Policy Institute is pleased to announce Fabrice Coles has been hired as Vice President of Government Affairs. Mr. Coles’s portfolio will focus primarily on consumer and fintech policy issues being considered by policymakers in the legislative and executive branches.  Mr. Coles previously served as the Executive Director for the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) where he provided counsel to the CBC Chairman and members and executed the strategic agenda of the caucus. Mr. Coles will start on February 4th and will report to BPI’s Head of Government Affairs Anthony Cimino.

“We are pleased to welcome Fabrice Coles to our team,” said BPI’s Head of Government Affairs Anthony Cimino. “Fabrice will work directly with BPI member companies and influential policymakers to help shape policies that allow the nation’s leading banks to best serve their communities.”

Mr. Coles has almost a decade of experience working on financial services and consumer policy issues. Prior to joining the CBC, he served in Community Development Financial Institutions Fund’s legislative affairs office within the U.S. Department of Treasury and worked in staff roles for Senators Gary Peters and Dianne Feinstein, and Representatives Cedric Richmond and Yvette Clarke.
