Kate Childress

Kate Childress is Executive Vice President and Head of Public Affairs at the Bank Policy Institute. She oversees government affairs, communications, and member engagement. Ms. Childress comes to BPI from JPMorgan Chase where she most recently served as Chairman and CEO Jamie Dimon’s point person for the firm’s work with the Business Roundtable. Ms. Childress spent nearly 10 years at JPMorgan Chase, where she helped lead the congressional advocacy effort around the drafting of the Dodd-Frank Act and, subsequently, the bank’s regulatory implementation advocacy. During her tenure in the public sector, Ms. Childress served as Staff Director of the Economic Policy Subcommittee of the Senate Banking Committee for Chairman Charles Schumer (D-NY).
