Sarah Mamula is Vice President for Government Affairs at the Bank Policy Institute (BPI). In this role, she engages Congress on a diverse set of policy issues, including cybersecurity, intellectual property, LIBOR transition, and data privacy. Previously, Ms. Mamula served in a chief of staff capacity for BPI, where she aided in operationalizing leadership directives and ensured information flow across departments to maximize BPI advocacy efforts.

Prior to joining BPI, Ms. Mamula served as Senior Director for the DC-based strategic and fundraising consulting firm, Helen Milby & Company. There, she managed all internal and external operations for the Global Women’s Innovation Network (GlobalWIN), a bipartisan bicameral 501(c)3 organization. While at Helen Milby & Company, Ms. Mamula also worked on large-scale efforts for the firm’s other clients, including the NewDem Action Fund and NewDEAL Leaders.

Ms. Mamula received a M.A. in international affairs from George Washington University. She completed her undergraduate work at Roger Williams University, receiving a B.A. in media communications and political science.
