Hilary Scherer is the Vice President and Director of Events for the Bank Policy Institute. At BPI, Mrs. Scherer oversees all aspects of both internal and external events including BPI’s Annual Conference and Fintech Ideas Festival. Mrs. Scherer coordinates and monitors all pre- and post- event logistics as well as attending and overseeing conferences on site. Mrs. Scherer has strong knowledge of all New York City and Washington, DC restaurants, hotels, and event spaces.
Prior to joining BPI, Mrs. Scherer was the Vice President of Events for The Clearing House Association overseeing all event production. Mrs. Scherer conducted The Clearing House’s First Annual Conference, now in its eighth consecutive year, which convenes over 500 C-Suite level executives from BPI and TCH member banks, consulting agencies, and law firms. Prior to joining The Clearing House, Mrs. Scherer worked as an Event Coordinator for the American Conference Institute.
Mrs. Scherer has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in sociology from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
