Haelim Anderson is a senior vice president for research at the Bank Policy Institute.
Previously, she was a senior financial economist at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and a financial economist at the Office of Financial Research, U.S. Treasury. In her previous role, she provided quantitative support for bank examinations and conducted research in the areas of banking, financial history, and monetary economics. In addition, she was an articles editor of the Journal of Financial Crises (JFC), an online publication of the Yale Program on Financial Stability.
Haelim received her Ph.D. in economics from UC Irvine and earned her B.A. in economics from UC Davis.
