Drew Ruben is Senior Vice President, Associate General Counsel at the Bank Policy Institute.
Prior to joining BPI, Mr. Ruben served as Senior Counsel in the Legal Division of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. At the Board, he focused on payment systems innovation, monetary policy, and bank regulation. Before joining the Board, Mr. Ruben advised financial institutions on bank regulatory issues at Covington & Burling and Davis Polk & Wardwell. He began his career as a Management Associate at Bridgewater Associates and co-founder of a retail coffee company.
Mr. Ruben received his J.D. from Yale Law School and B.A. magna cum laude from Yale College. He is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and member of the bar in New York.
