Alexander Kim is the Assistant Vice President and Research Analyst for the Bank Policy Institute where he engages in macroeconomic and financial research pertaining to bank M&A, competition, liquidity risk, and capital structure.

Prior to joining BPI, Mr. Kim was a Portfolio Associate at alterDomus, a financial advising company supporting multinational financial institutions and alternative investment funds from around the world, where he specialized in Private Credit and structured products. Before this, Mr. Kim participated in internships under Amundi Asset Management and the CFA institute, where he researched US Large Cap equities, as well as Emerging Market Large Cap equities.

Mr. Kim has a B.A. Summa Cum Laude in both Economics and Psychology, along with a minor in Finance, from Tufts University. His passion for economics lies in quantitative game theory, behavioral economics, and industrial organization. In his free time, he enjoys playing/watching lacrosse, snowboarding, and yoga.
