BPI Statement on Federal Reserve Regulation O Modernization Proposal

Washington, D.C. – BPI issued the following statement regarding the Federal Reserve’s proposal to modernize Regulation O.

“The Federal Reserve’s proposal is a common-sense reform that would cut bureaucratic red tape and reduce unnecessary compliance burdens. We encourage all banking regulators to continue implementing these types of policy reforms that align regulations with modern banking practices, while having no detrimental effect on safety and soundness.”
